The Faculty of Health Science (FHC) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu is committed to developing excellent, Islamic, and professional health practitioners dedicated to the well-being of society. Currently, the faculty offers three Departments: Nursing Science (BN), Registered Nurse (RN), and Public Health.
As a faculty that emphasizes both academic excellence and community engagement, we focuses on two major areas: Medical-Surgical Nursing and Community Health Promotion. These strengths prepare graduates not only to provide high-quality healthcare services but also to promote public health awareness and empowerment.
In terms of quality assurance, the Faculty of Health Sciences is accredited “Baik Sekali” (Very Good), while Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu as an institution has achieved “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation. We are continuously striving and synergizing its efforts to reach the same excellent level of accreditation as the university.
Faculty of Health Science UMB is highly prepared for international collaboration, supported by established partnerships with universities and institutions in Thailand (Khon Kaen University, Krirk University), Taiwan (Asia University, NTUNHS), Malaysia (Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Malaya), and the Philippines (Cebu Normal University, MSU-IIT). Through these collaborations, the faculty actively enhances student experiences, fosters global research opportunities, and promotes cross-border knowledge sharing.
With a vision to shape competent and globally minded health professionals, FHC is dedicated to advancing education, research, and international cooperation for the benefit of humanity.
